The Ever After event came about through our desire to help middle school girls navigate the often confusing challenges of becoming a teenager. We hope to show girls that Christ is the author of their story. He invites us into a relationship, He empowers us to help write our stories through our choices, and He offers grace when we fall. We want girls to know this hope and to know that there are others who have walked the path before them and are here to support, listen, and love.

Naomi Allen
Naomi Allen and her husband, Brian, have lived in Buena Vista since February 2011. They have three children: 8, 11, and 13. She studied Sociology and Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado. After volunteering at the BVPC as a client advocate for many years, she stepped into the position of Director in August 2020. Her favorite part of this new role is working with youth in the schools and with the middle school events. Naomi loves having the opportunity to coordinate this event with her friends to encourage and support our communities' middle school girls.

I've been an RN nurse for 21 years, I've been married for 17+ years and mom of a 14+ year old boy and a 9+ year old girl. I have personal experiences with many hard things in life and much affliction. However, God has been Awesome and Faithful through it all! He is my Rock and Comfort! I trust l, no matter what, He will never leave me nor forsake me. He has proved it! God is forever my love, and it is my honor to obey Him.

Karol Flowers
Karol was the energetic director of the Buena Vista Pregnancy Center from 2005-2020. Karol has been living in the community since 1970. She married her Buena Vista High School sweetheart, Ron, in 1975. They worked with Young Life while rearing their three sons and take great delight in their grandchildren.

Amanda Lagree
Amanda and her husband Levi moved to BV in 2010 to work for Young Life’s Frontier Ranch. Amanda has a BA in Communications from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA. They have two incredible children (6 and 3) whom they adopted from birth. Amanda works as a Client Services Admin at the Buena Vista Pregnancy Center. Her favorite things are laughing and making people laugh, being with her incredible family, doing anything outdoors, and being a part of the Greenhouse Ministry at Clearview Community Church. She loves any chance she gets to be a part of things that allow others to grow in their relationships with Jesus and to know above all that they are known, seen and loved by Him.

Julie loves working with kids of all ages, especially teenagers! Julie has worked for many years as the Children's Director at ClearView Community Church. She has been part of Ever After since the very beginning and loves to be a part of this awesome day each year, especially this year since both her daughters get to come! Julie and her husband Ben have three kids and have both lived in BV for most of their lives. Julie's other passions are writing and words. And chocolate.

I was born and raised in Buena Vista and after being away for a few years, my husband Josh and I came back to the area to raise a family at “home.” Middle school sweethearts now raising 3 busy kiddos ages 11, 9 and 7. I runs multiple businesses from home, including a full time photography business. I have a heart for young girls and woman and a passion overall for people and sharing my story of how Jesus truly pursued me. God has transformed my life and the journey has been both intense and so beautiful. My joys in life are Jesus, my family, reading, writing, and the women I get to pour into weekly!

When she's not writing, she's reading several books at once, spending time outdoors, or enjoying a great cup of coffee with friends. Above all, she loves talking to girls of all ages about Jesus and how to live out their true identity as His beloved.
